Job Description
One of our great clients is looking for an Asbestos Worker! This is a great Temp to Hire position with one of Wichita's top employers. We want to talk to you if you have prior experience with asbestos abatement!
Responsibilities:
Perform asbestos abatement projects using a variety of techniques, including glove bagging and gross abatement of floor tile and mastic, ceiling tile, piping and insulation, etc.
Set up and take down containment and glove bags
Load and properly dispose of asbestos
Perform non-friable asbestos abatement
Perform lead abatement activities as needed
Assist with remediation services projects as needed
Operate hand and power tools safely including jack hammers, power chisels, and powerwashers
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Perform decontamination activities
Ensure proper functioning of PPE; clean and maintain PPE
Comply with safety policies and procedures
Provide additional support as needed
