Job Description
One of our favorite clients is growing and looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist. This is an hourly position, working Monday - Friday, with the possibility of overtime.
This role will:
Set up, adjusts, and operate CNC lathes to produce parts to print specifications.
Use micrometers, depth mic's, indicators, pin gages, Calipers, thread gages, etc.
Change soft jaws and collet pads as needed to complete lathe set-ups.
Set-up Tool length offsets
Operate 1 or 2 machines by yourself with the help of another operator
Solves machining problems related to machine
Inspect parts per print specifications
Recognizing tool wear and replacing or changing worn tools
Read & work with shop floor work packets
Make adjustments to tooling as needed
Help solve machining problems related to your machine
Help train and assist new operators
