Elevate Your Leadership as a Commercial Lending Manager!
Our Commercial Lending manager is responsible for the success of commercial loan portfolios as well as the management and development of the commercial lending team. In addition to developing and nurturing key bank client relationships, this person will recommend and implement commercial lending policies, credit risk rating processes, and interest rate structures to maximize profits and growth.
In this role you will:
- Manage, support, and develop a team of Loan Officers; ensure a competent, motivated staff through training, mentoring, and reviewing performance
- Acquire new commercial relationships and expand existing commercial relationships by cross selling all products and services
- Oversee the underwriting of commercial loans that meet the strategic objectives and optimize profitability and risk; ensure consistent compliance with policy and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth lending operations and business growth.
- Review loan policies and operational procedures on a routine basis and recommend updates
- Oversee and coordinate preparation of Loan Committee and Board reporting for new loan requests and loan renewal requests to ensure alignment with lending policies
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of commercial lending experience
- Extensive knowledge of commercial banking and ability to analyze financial information
- Experience managing and building high-performing teams
- Strong organizational skills with experience in managing multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field preferred
