Job Description
We’re seeking a driven and results-oriented Commercial Construction Sales Representative to join a local growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of the construction industry, and excels at building long-term client relationships. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business in commercial construction markets
Identify and pursue leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events
Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and property managers
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs
Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to ensure accurate bids and seamless project handoff
Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company goals and client expectations
Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM tools
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in commercial construction or related industries
Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project lifecycle
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents (preferred)
Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a passion for exceeding targets
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
