One of our favorite clients is looking for an experienced Florist who will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful floral displays, assisting customers with their floral needs, and ensuring the highest quality of flowers and arrangements. This role combines artistry with management and customer service in a dynamic store environment. Great retail hours, floral department is open M-F 9-5, Sat 9-3. (Rotating every other Saturday schedule) Benefits include Health Insurance, Vacation, and 401K! Apply today!
Key Responsibilities:
• Floral Arrangements: Design and create eye-catching floral arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces for various occasions, including holidays, weddings, and special events.
• Customer Service: Assist customers with floral selections, provide recommendations, and fulfill custom orders. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to floral products.
• Inventory Management: Manage floral inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking flowers and supplies. Monitor product quality and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
• Store Presentation: Maintain the visual appeal of the floral department by organizing and replenishing displays, ensuring flowers are fresh and arranged attractively.
• Sales and Promotions: Drive sales by promoting floral products, special offers, and seasonal items. Implement store promotions and assist with marketing efforts as needed.
• Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized work area, including the storage and care of floral supplies. Adhere to health and safety standards in handling and preparing flowers.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Previous experience as a florist or in a related field. Familiarity with floral design principles and techniques is essential. Prefer some department management experience.
• Skills: Strong creative abilities with an eye for design and detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry floral arrangements, and handle flowers and supplies.
• Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including every other Saturday and holidays as needed.
