Civil Engineer
Job Description
Project Leadership
- Lead civil and industrial engineering projects through planning, design, permitting, construction, and close-out
- Manage schedules, budgets, scopes, risks, and resources
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, consultants, and contractors
Engineering Oversight
- Provide professional engineering judgment and technical direction
- Review, approve, and seal engineering plans and calculations as required
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Client & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and reliable delivery
- Support proposals, presentations, and business development efforts
Quality, Safety & Performance
- Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and accountability
- Oversee QA/QC processes and constructability reviews
- Identify challenges early and implement practical, value-driven solutions
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of engineering experience with increasing project responsibility
- Proven experience managing civil and/or industrial projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience with industrial facilities, utilities, manufacturing, or large-scale civil infrastructure
- PMP or other project management certification
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MS Project, or Primavera
