The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aviation standards and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in inspecting aircraft components, systems, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft, components, and systems to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and manufacturer specifications
Review maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
Perform audits of maintenance procedures and ensure adherence to quality control protocols
Identify and report discrepancies, defects, or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and regulatory authorities to resolve quality issues
Maintain accurate inspection logs, reports, and records in accordance with regulatory requirements
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to quality assurance training programs
Stay current with industry regulations, safety standards, and technological advancements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Technology or related field preferred)
- Previous experience in aircraft inspection required (at least 1 year)
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100 standards, and aircraft systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
