Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a results-driven Light Industrial Purchasing Agent to manage procurement activities within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, and optimizing purchasing strategies to support production efficiency and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for industrial materials and equipment
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors
Issue purchase orders and track the delivery of goods
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to ensure timely restocking
Maintain supplier relationships and resolve any discrepancies or delays
Conduct cost analysis and market research to improve procurement performance
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to forecast material needs
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
2–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software
Knowledge of industrial materials and equipment
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
