What You’ll Do
- Design, maintain, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency across all branches
- Oversee branch systems and functionality, including teller platforms, cash ordering, balancing, and reconciliation
- Continuously analyze workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, reduce costs, and strengthen operational integrity
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and control standards
- Act as the primary liaison with Compliance, Audit, and Risk Management, coordinating audits and ensuring timely resolution of findings
- Serve as the escalation point for branch operational concerns, providing solutions that keep teams focused on customer service
- Manage the helpdesk/ticketing system, prioritizing and tracking requests for efficient resolution
- Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Retail Services to troubleshoot systemic issues and implement preventive measures
- Partner with the Training Supervisor to deliver comprehensive instruction on operational procedures, systems, and compliance standards
- Recommend updates to training materials, user guides, and refresher programs to promote accuracy and confidence
- Oversee vendor relationships supporting retail operations
- Monitor vendor performance and contractual compliance, ensuring value, security, and efficiency
- Maintain adherence to company policies and applicable laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in retail banking operations or branch management
- Proven expertise in compliance, risk management, and operational systems
- Leadership Style: Approachable, collaborative, and committed to driving progress by leading an outstanding team
Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in banking systems and vendor management
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements
