We are seeking skilled welders who specialize in Steel MIG Welding to join a local Kansas City team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding steel components using the MIG process in various positions, such as flat, vertical, and overhead. You will work with blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure high-quality, structurally sound welds.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) on structural and sheet metals.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Maintain equipment and work area safety.
Follow safety protocols and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in MIG welding.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Certification in welding is preferred.
